This model represents the 3-bladed center propeller fit to RMS Titanic and also fit for a time to sistership RMS Olympic.
 
Until about 2007, it had been believed that Titanic was fit with a 4-bladed center propeller like her younger sister Britannic. Plastic model kits generally reflect this belief. New research has found documentary evidence indicating Titanic was actually fit with a 3-bladed center propeller.
 
Although sistership RMS Olympic had a 4-bladed center propeller for most of her service life, she was also fit with a 3-bladed center propeller for a short time.

This accurate model was designed by 3D artist and Titanic historian Vasilije Ristovic based on research by Mark Chirnside and others.
