This pair of models represents the fighting tops of Tennessee class battleships USS Tennessee BB-43 and USS California BB-44 as they appeared from 1935-1941. This is their Pearl Harbor attack appearance.
A set of Tennessee class fighting tops as they appeared from 1921 through 1934 is available separately.
This model features open shutters all around. Overall dimensions are based on drawings made by Alan B. Chesley. Details were confirmed by careful examination of available photographs of the actual ship.
This fighting top set is specific to Tennessee class battleships. Other fighting tops for similar US Navy battleships are differently shaped.
