These accurately scaled and detailed models represent the standard metal 75-gallon drop tank fit to many World War-Two-era, single-engine fighter aircraft. 

Drop tanks were conspicuous features fit to such aircraft as the P-51 Mustang, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-40 Warhawk, P-39 Airacobra, and more. Some allied aircraft were also known to have been fit with this tank including the Supermarine Seafire (see photo in carousel).

This is an original product design, not a 3D-printed copy of any plastic kit's or resin parts.

These parts are made of acrylic plastic.  Acrylic plastic does not behave like injection-molded polystyrene plastic or other resins.  Glues for polystyrene plastic, like "Testors Liquid Cement" or tube cement, will not work with acrylic plastic.  Cyanoacrylate (CA) "super glue" is recommended.
