Scale: 1/200

Recommended for GPM 1/200 scale USS West Virginia BB-48 (1941)

These 3D-printed models represent the fighting tops of the Colorado class battleship USS West Virginia BB-48 as they appeared at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941.  Their overall dimensions are based on official 1933 US Navy Booklet of General Plans drawings of the ship with details adjusted to match 1941 to 1942-era photos.

The lowest level (the floor) of each fighting top is offered as a separate part to allow the modeler interior access.  A locator strip exists within the fighting top to aid in assembly.  When properly assembled, the lowest level will be positioned higher than the bottom of the fighting top, accurately creating a small skirt around the bottom.

These 3D-printed parts are designed from official US Navy drawings.  They are NOT 3D-printed copies of any plastic or resin model kit's parts, therefore they may be sized and shaped differently from your kit's parts.  Some adjustment to your kit's parts or other aftermarket parts such as photo-etch may be necessary for best fit.
