Scale: 1/32

Includes parts to build 2 drop tanks.

These accurately scaled and detailed models represent the early version of the standard, pressed-paper, 108-gallon drop tank fit to many World War-Two-era, US Army Air Force single-engine fighter aircraft such as the P-51 Mustang and P-47 Thunderbolt.  The early version had a single nose filler cap.

The 108-gallon pressed-paper drop tank was produced by the Atlas Lace Paper Company in England for use by USAAF aircraft as a stop-gap measure pending the delivery of pressed aluminum tanks from the United States.  The real drop tank was 100 inches (254 centimeters) long.

This is an original product design, not a 3D-printed copy of any plastic kit's parts or resin parts.

These parts are made of acrylic plastic.  Acrylic plastic does not behave like injection-molded polystyrene plastic or other resins.  Glues for polystyrene plastic, like "Testors Liquid Cement" or tube cement, will not work with acrylic plastic.  Cyanoacrylate (CA) "super glue" is recommended.
