These 3D-printed models represent trunnions, a key component of the enormous 16"/45 caliber naval rifles of the Colorado-class battleships USS Colorado BB-45, USS Maryland BB-46, the never commissioned USS Washington BB-47, and USS West Virginia BB-48.  ​These trunnions are slotted to accept your favorite brass or kit barrels and fit Model Monkey Colorado-class turrets available separately.
 
Notice: these trunnions will not fit turrets designed for the Blue Water Navy or Yankee Modelworks kits, which are under-scale.  When properly assembled, you will be able to set the position of the barrels to any realistic elevation from +30 degrees to -4 degrees, just like the real turrets.

These trunnions are not 3D-printed copies of any plastic or resin kit's parts or designed for any specific aftermarket brass barrels and therefore may be shaped and sized differently than those parts.  Some adjustment to these trunnions or your kit's parts may be necessary for best fit.
