This pair of models represents the funnels of North Carolina-class battleships USS North Carolina BB-55 and USS Washington BB-56.
 
Trumpeter 1/350 scale USS North Carolina BB-55 kit owners: although the Trumpeter kit's funnel bases are accurately teardrop-shaped, the Trumpeter kit's funnels are inaccurately teardrop-shaped with incorrectly shaped and poorly detailed funnel caps.  These 3D-printed gray resin funnels are correctly parallel-sided with a gently curving aft contour, just like the real funnels (see photos in the carousel).  Furthermore, these 3D-printed funnels have accurately shaped and detailed funnel caps.  Attach these parallel-sided 3D-printed gray resin funnels directly to your Trumpeter kit's teardrop-shaped bases.

These parts are not 3D-printed copies of any plastic or resin kit's parts and therefore may be shaped and sized differently than those parts.  Some adjustment to your plastic kit's parts or other aftermarket parts such as photoetch or wood decks may be necessary for best fit.
