This model kit represents the funnel of Pennsylvania-class battleship USS Arizona BB-39 as the ship appeared from early 1941 until the ship's destruction at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. This is a multi-part kit. These parts were designed for a tight fit. 3D-printed plastic is more brittle than polystyrene kit parts. If necessary, trim parts to fit rather than force them.

Unlike other aftermarket funnels, this model represents the funnel after it's height was raised by 6 feet during a 1936 refit which helped better direct boiler exhaust gasses away from the bridge.

Separate machinegun platform permits easier access and interior painting of the boxy searchlight control platforms straddling the funnel.
Interior and exterior searchlight control station supports.
Searchlight control station and machinegun platform open access scuttles (deck openings) with hatches in the open, raised position.
Open smoke pipe with correct interior "bend", hollow all the way through.
Accurate, extensive and very subtle exterior rivet and reinforcing strap detail unique to USS Arizona.  This is not a duplicate Pennsylvania funnel.

Incinerator exhaust pipe with accurate cap.
Galley exhaust pipes with accurate caps.
Funnel cap grille.
Funnel cap cutout for a vertical ladder on the forward side (ladder not included).
