This set of eight accurate and highly detailed model turrets represent the forward two 6"/47 cal. Triple-gun Turrets and six 5"/38 cal Mk.32 Twin-gun Mounts of the classic Renwal/Revell USS Springfield, USS Pasadena and USS Galveston kits in their guided missile cruiser configuration.  These turrets are intended as direct replacements for the Renwal kit's inaccurately shaped and poorly detailed turrets.

turret bottoms are numbered for easy identification - Turret #1 goes on the main deck
Turret 1 has accurate access hatch and shell ejection ports on aft turret wall (superfiring Turret #2 does not – access for Turret #2 was made through the turret bottom overhang)
6"/47 are barrels fixied to a trunnion that is printed separately from the turret so that the modeler can insert the trunnion into the turret and set the barrels to any realistic elevation from -5 degrees to +60 degrees, just like the real turrets
6"/47 barrels have a blast bag retaining ring
5"/38 mounts accurately scaled from US Navy drawings
5"/38 mount trunnions are integrated and slotted for barrels (barrels not included)

These scale model turrets are designed from scans of original builder’s blueprints.  They are not 3D-printed copies of any resin or plastic model kit’s parts.
