This multi-part model kit represents the "square bridge" forward supestructure of the US Navy's World War II-era Cleveland class light cruisers. It can also be used to help convert any "round bridge" USS Cleveland CL-55 model to one of USS Cleveland's "square bridge" sisterships.  It is also intended as a more accurate replacement for the parts found in 1/700 scale "square bridge" Cleveland class model kits.

Features:
overall dimensions accurately scaled from official US Navy Booklet of General Plans drawings for USS Miami CL-89, dated June, 1946
the model's features and deck configuration are based on USS Miami's 1944 appearance which are consistent with most other square-bridge Clevelance class ships' World War Two appearance.
accurately shaped Forward Air Defense and Forward Fire Control Station, Navigating Bridge, Flag Bridge and Communication Platform levels
accurately shaped and postioned Peloruses
slightly raised discs for Sky Lookouts and Target Designators (Sky Lookouts and Target Designators are not included)
deck cutouts for inclined ladders (ladders not included)
closed A/T Doors of two different types
open Bridge Portholes
Chart Table and Lockers on the Forward Air Defense level
cutout for the Foremast
open Venturi (wind deflector)
subtle, raised anti-slip pads on decks
 
Depending on which kit you have, some minor adjustment to these parts or your model kit's parts may be necessary to ensure best fit.
