This set of detailed models represents the funnels of Royal Navy Town-class light cruisers HMS Belfast and HMS Edinburgh as the funnels appeared during World War Two.  HMS Belfast is preserved as a museum ship on the River Thames at London.
 
Measurements taken of the real funnels and Admiralty drawings show the funnels to be dissimilarly sized.  Compared to the ship's aft funnel, measurements of the real funnels confirm that the forward funnel is slightly shorter front-to-rear and slightly wider side-to-side.
