This pair of models represent the forward and aft fighting tops, the "Fore Top" and the "Main Top", of USS Nevada BB-36 and USS Oklahoma BB-37 as the ships appeared in 1941.  The fighting tops are configured as they appeared after the installation of a pedestal to support a "bird bath" machinegun position on the Main Top.
