Here is a downloadable scan of an official Royal Navy drawing of a single-mast cutter.  The drawing was prepared by celebrated English naval architect Marmaduke Stalkartt circa 1781.  The drawing includes the outboard profile, hull body plan, and transom.
 
The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
