Here is a downloadable scan of official US Navy drawings of the training aircraft carrier USS Wolverine IX-64.  This plan was prepared for the US Navy by American Ship Building Company, Cleveland, Ohio, dated August, 1942.  This scan shows plan (overhead) views of main deck and orlop deck, and ship's dimensions and data.

 

USS Wolverine was originally built as built as the civilian Great Lakes luxury side-wheel steamer cruise ship SS Seeandbee for the Cleveland and Buffalo Transit Company.   She was acquired by the US Navy and converted into a training aircraft carrier in 1942.

 

The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
