Here is a downloadable scan of official US Navy Booklet of General Plans drawings of the Yorktown class aircraft carriers USS Yorktown CV-5 and USS Enterprise CV-6 prepared by the US Navy Bureau of Construction and Repair, Washington DC, dated 19 September 1933.
 
This drawing includes the ships' original, pre-construction, as-intended outboard view, decks and platforms above the hangar deck.
 
The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
