Recommended for the Trumpeter 1/350 scale HMS Belfast.
 
This set of detailed models represents the funnels of Royal Navy Town-class light cruisers HMS Belfast and HMS Edinburgh as the funnels appeared during World War Two.  HMS Belfast is preserved as a museum ship on the River Thames at London.
 
The Trumpeter kit's forward funnel is significantly smaller than the aft funnel.  Measurements taken of the real funnels and Admiralty drawings show the funnels to be closer in size than the Trumpeter kit's funnel parts.  Compared to the ship's aft funnel, measurements of the real funnels confirm that the forward funnel is slightly shorter front-to-rear and slightly wider side-to-side.  But the difference is not as great as depicted by Trumpeter.
